1. Dil To Pagal Hai was originally supposed to be titled Maine To Mohabbat Ki Hai. The film was also called Tevar at one point, with Urmila Matondkar in Karisma Kapoor's role.
2. Shah Rukh Khan's clothes were designed by his good friend, Karan Johar, in the film.

3. The film's original cast included Akshaye Khanna as Akash, Hrithik Roshan as Siddharth and Saif Ali Khan as Sameer. Hrithik's role was offered to Abhishek Bachchan after the former refused to do it. But even Abhishek turned it down. Even Shiney Ahuja was zeroed in toplay
